Julia Guarino, JD
Co-Founder/Chief Executive Officer

As the result of her own profound grief experience - the stillbirth of her daughter in 2023 - Julia came up with the concept of a comprehensive online resource to support people in asking for and giving meaningful help during hard times.
​
Julia holds a J.D. and is a licensed attorney in the state of Washington. Julia has a background in government and nonprofit management.

Mary Hoyt Kearns, PhD
Co-Founder/President
​
Mary works with Julia and the team to create connections with grief and other professionals, gather resources, and develop educational outreach. She created the branding for Here for Ya, and developed the website.
Mary has a PhD in Applied Developmental Psychology. She is a Reiki Master Teacher who has volunteered in cancer support programs, and has been called by families to offer Reiki to family members in hospice.
Lori Burns-Galdenzi, LCSW
Therapist and Grief Advocate

Lori focuses on empathetic and culturally competent language when advocating for individuals experiencing grief.
She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has a private practice in Connecticut. She has worked for a local teaching hospital for over 25 years. She has served mostly women and children with a special interest in grief and bereavement.
